Margaret Tarkington

Professor of Law

Margaret Tarkington is a Professor of Law at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she teaches Professional Responsibility, Federal Courts, Civil Procedure and a seminar on Constitutional Law. Her scholarly work addresses the First Amendment rights of lawyers and has been published in the Georgetown Law Journal, the Boston College Law Review, and the UC Davis Law Review, among others. Prior to becoming a professor, Tarkington practiced law in New York, Indiana, and Utah. Tarkington is the mother of five children—four boys and one girl.
