Mya Guarnieri is a South Florida-based journalist and writer who lived in and covered Israel and the occupied Palestinian Territories for seven years. She is currently in Tel Aviv to work on her book about migrant workers and African refugees in Israel, Unchosen, which is forthcoming from Pluto Press.

Her byline has appeared in numerous international outlets, including The Guardian, Le Monde Diplomatique, Counter Punch, Al Jazeera English, the NYT, the National, Outlook India, and Caravan.
