Nafa Ribeiro

Nafa Adadevoh Ribeiro, M.S.,PMP, is a public health consultant, turned photographer turned entrepreneur. After dabbling in photography as a hobby for years, Nafa decided to take the plunge and move ahead with starting and running her own photography business, Judah Avenue Photography.

As a young girl growing up in Ghana, Nafa always had a heart for romance novels. She would find herself swept away by the vivid worlds painted by romance novelists such as Brenda Joyce and Judith McNaught. The tales of lords and ladies, knights in shining armor and a love that’s everlasting spoke something to her eternally optimistic spirit. Given her proclivity toward romance in general, it perhaps shouldn’t be surprising that Nafa got her start in photography by photographing weddings. Over the years, she’s developed her own style of wedding photography, which has been described her clients as being dreamy, candid and elegant. But wedding photography was just the beginning. In addition to photographing couples on their wedding day, Nafa has built Judah Avenue into a bustling business with a unique style of maternity and newborn photography.

Since going full-time with her business, Judah Avenue Photography's reach has also expanded geographically. Nafa started in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and is now operating an additional branch of Judah Avenue in New York City servicing clients in the tristate area with her signature and stunning maternity and newborn photography.
