Nancy Kaddis, MD

I'm a wife, a mother, and a physician. I'm also an immigrant, a traveler and a student of life.

Dr. Nancy Kaddis an oncology hospitalist who will be completing a hematology and oncology fellowship at St. Elizabeth Medical Center/Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I find it an honor to take care of cancer patients, both those who survive and those who are end of life. If I help patients survive longer or with a better quality of life, I feel like it's a win. If I can't help lengthen a patient's life, then I am a part of that patient's end of life, which is an incredibly sacred time in our lives. Either way, I feel like it's a win. Each experience is a privilege. I'm also a mother to two very active young boys and have found that each facet of my life balances another. I love writing and sharing my thoughts and reflections about working with end-of-life patients, working as a physician mom, and other aspects of my life.
