President and CEO of Urban Resource Institute

Nathaniel Fields is President & CEO of Urban Resource Institute, leading all aspects of the organization’s facilities, programs, and staff. Mr. Fields has nearly 30 years of experience in human services organizations, a majority of which were spent in key leadership positions in the field of domestic violence, including his roles as Senior Vice President of the Domestic Violence Shelter Division and Hotline Programs at Safe Horizon and Senior Director at Addiction Research and Treatment Corporation’s Medically Supervised Ambulatory Drug Free Treatment Program. As a subject matter expert in the social services movement, Mr. Fields continues to influence the field through community leadership positions. He is co-chair of the New York City Coalition of Domestic Violence Residential Service Providers and board member of the career development organization Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Teachers, and he regularly participates in national and international conferences. Mr. Fields holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and is licensed to practice in New York State.
