Psychotherapist, Writer, Commentator, Motivational Speaker and mother of three. Her private practice is based in NYC and Connecticut.

Nell Kathleen Gibbon is a practicing psychotherapist, journalist, contributor, keynote speaker, and happy mother of three young children. She has appeared on nationally syndicated television shows such as PBS Nightly News, The Tyra Banks Show, and Entertainment Tonight. Her expert advice on health and wellness, lifestyle, relationships, and parenting has been featured in magazines such as Self, Parents, Time Out New York, and Glamour. She has lectured at top-tier organizations like Google and New York University, where she taught as an adjunct professor in the Steinhardt School of Education.

Nell holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She has post-graduate training in reproductive psychiatry and maternal mental health through Weill Cornell’s Post-Graduate Medical School and the Postpartum Stress Center in Pennsylvania.

Nell maintains a private practice in New York City, and in Fairfield County’s Westport, Connecticut, where she teaches people how to thrive in life and business. Nell is also an outspoken advocate for the economic advancement of women and children, worldwide.

Her first book is schedule to be published in the fall of 2015.
