Nena Baker, author of The Body Toxic: How the Hazardous Chemistry of Everyday Things Threatens Our Health and Well-Being, is a former staff writer for The Arizona Republic, The Oregonian, and United Press International. Her book won a 2009 Nautilus Award Gold Prize for journalism. She is a graduate of Lewis & Clark College and lives in Portland, OR.
