Nicholas G. Arons is an attorney in New York City. He is the founder and a board member of Islands First, an organization that helps small island states address climate change. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Yale and NYU, respectively, and he was a Fulbright Scholar in Brazil where he wrote Waiting for Rain (University of Arizona Press, 2004), which discusses the impact of climate change on droughts in Brazil.
