Nickie is a doctoral student in the Urban Education Studies Program at Indiana University- Indianapolis. Before pursuing a doctorate, she spent a decade working as a special educator in four major cities and overseas. She is also the mother of three awesome kids, all under the age of 4. She likes hikes, dogs, barbecues, and earth tones, and is interested in pursuing research in program evaluation of trauma informed classrooms.
