I grew up in Country Club HIlls, IL, but currently make my home in Alsip. I graduated from HIllcrest High School (1995) and Western Illinois University (1999). I work, on the civilian side, for the Alsip Police Department (since 2005). I have been in the Army since high school (I joined in 1994). My home Army unit is the 416th Theater Engineer Command in Darien, IL. I currently am a Major in the Engineer Branch. I work for U.S. Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) as a liaison officer to NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan (NTM-A) in Afghanistan.
