Attorney Nicole H. Sodoma is the founder of Sodoma Law, P.C., based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been in practice for over a decade, concentrating on Family Law, and opened Sodoma Law in 2008. Other areas of practice for the firm include Assisted Reproductive Technology, Estate Planning, and Business Law. Sodoma Law is headquartered in Charlotte’s historic Walter Brem House, with three additional locations in Charlotte and in Monroe, Union County. The majority of Ms. Sodoma’s cases focus on separation, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Through A.R.T. at Sodoma Law, the Assisted Reproductive Technology practice, she focuses on surrogacy and donor agreements, pre-birth orders, adoptions, and parenting plans for both traditional and non-traditional families. She is also a certified Parenting Coordinator, helping parents in high conflict custody cases to better co-parent and resolve disagreements. Ms. Sodoma is an accomplished speaker on topics related to family law, including child custody, child support, spousal support, A.R.T., equitable distribution, and domestic violence. She annually assists with many national, state-wide and local not-for-profit organizations. In 2014, Ms. Sodoma started the Sodoma Law Foundation. The Foundation supports organizations that improve the well-being of children regionally and nationally and those that support the charitable endeavors of Mecklenburg County’s legal community. The Sodoma Law Foundation aggregates the firm’s efforts, through its pro bono efforts and contributed funds, into areas where there can be a maximum impact.
