Nicole Lederer

Nicole Lederer is Co-Founder of Environmental Entrepreneurs, “The Independent Business Voice for the Environment”. Started in 2000, E2 is a national, non-partisan organization of business leaders who promote good environmental policy to grow the economy – advancing the idea that better environmental performance is linked to stronger economic results. Nicole does advocacy work at both the state and national level, offering legislators a pro-environment business perspective. She leads E2's advocacy agenda in Washington, DC, supporting policy that fosters environmental innovation, sustainable economic development and green job creation. Nicole graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Zoology. Prior to focusing her efforts on the environment she did medical research in cancer biology and neonatal intensive care. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, and has two daughters.
