Nikki Steele

My name is Nikki Steele, and I am the sports blogger for Clemson girl, a site dedicated to all things Clemson, but from a female perspective. I also work as a correspondent for TigerNet.com, Clemson’s oldest and largest website. When I’m not at a Clemson athletic event, I can usually be found in the press boxes or on the sidelines for many of upstate South Carolina’s high school sporting events, working as a contributing writer for the Greenville News.

I have always been a Clemson fan –- I like to say that I “attended” several Clemson games with my mother in the months leading up to my birth. I attended Clemson, but not with the intent of being a sports writer - I graduated in 2008 with a Sociology degree , and then went on to get my Master’s in Criminology from the University of South Carolina, even though that is a cardinal sin for Clemson graduates.
