Youngest Venture Capitalist, Writer, Entrepreneur, & Startup Founder of Pyur Solutions, Student

Nandeet Mehta has been called a competitor by Forbes, and “The Youngest Venture Capitalist” by Huffington Post for starting his career in Venture Capital at the young age of 18. Nandeet Mehta is an Edison Scholar undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a degree in History with a minor in Global Studies. He was named to the innagaural 30 under 30 list by the University of California Office of the President for founding Pyur Solutions. Pyur Solutions the company Nandeet is a Founder of is a recent winner of UCLA’s Best Startup, Pyur Solutions, a clean-tech solutions company that has created the world's first complete line of biodegradable, non-toxic, all organic pest solutions. Additionally, He is a contributing writer at Tech Crunch and Huffington Post. On the VC end, he's a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of a student-run VC firm Prototype Capital that wants to bridge the gap between huge university talent and investment resources and an Associate Consultant at Anthos Capital, a VC firm in Silicon Valley & Los Angeles. He also has his hands in a health startup called Third Eye Technologies which works to empower the blind by using image recognition and artificial intelligence. His experience also includes a myriad of internships from marketing at Lyft, Ubisoft, and Samsung, to VC firms such as Science Inc and Space Angels Network. His experience also includes researching in traumatic brain injury and cranial injury detection at NeuralAnalytics. Nandeet strives to express his passions through speaking at conferences, university events, moderating panels, as well as having most recently co-created and co-lectured the “Self-Innovations Lab: Converting Academic Expertise to Industry Expertise” accredited class at UCLA.
