I'm half-Mexican and half-Lebanese and a proud American Muslim. I'm a father and a husband. I have a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Master’s in Arab Studies from Georgetown University as well as a Ph.D. in Arabic sociolinguistics from Georgetown University. I work on political sociolinguistics in English and Arabic, Muslims in the West, and study as well as actively oppose Islamophobia.
