Noel Molony

Concern Worldwide's Country Director in South Sudan

Noel Molony has worked in international humanitarian aid and development for nearly 30 years. He has managed programs for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in more than 17 countries across Africa, Asia, and Central and South America. Originally from Ennis in County Clare, Ireland, Noel started his career in international aid and development with the Dublin-based Concern Worldwide in Sudan and later served as Country Director for the organization in Malawi, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and East Timor. Today Noel is Concern Worldwide's Country Director in South Sudan, where he oversees the organization's emergency response to the crisis that erupted in December 2013 and its ongoing development activities. He lives in Kampala, Uganda and is an avid photographer, with two published photography books from Laos and Nepal.
