Janet Odgis is the President and Creative Director of Odgis + Co which is an award-winning, woman-owned design firm based in New York City. They have worked with some of the world’s most prestigious corporations, reinventing ways to define and express their brands. By providing the clients with total creative expertise across multiple platforms, Odgis + Co helps them captivate, engage and inform their key stakeholders. Janet Odgis founded Odgis + Co in 1985 after receiving her MFA from Yale University. Before attending Yale, she was a Special Projects Designer at Random House, Knopf and Vintage where she directed and designed in the advertising, pharmaceutical and magazine sales promotion industries. She taught graphic design classes for 5 years at Parsons the New School of Design and for 12 years at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Janet’s work has received many honors, including the National Book Awards, the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Art Directors Club, DESI and Print Regional. She is a member of the Women’s Presidents’ Organization and the AIGA. Odgis + Co has successfully met the standards of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and is a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) NYC Certified Small Business.
