Olga Homonchuk

Undergrad at Cornell University

Olga Homonchuk earned an AA at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN and transferred to Cornell, where she will earn a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations. She will study Comparative Social Policy at Oxford to earn her MPhil.

After visiting as a leadership exchange student in high school, Olga moved to Minnesota from Ukraine and attended Normandale Community College (NCC). In addition to an impressive academic resume, she was the president of Phi Theta Kappa, was one of only 20 recipients of the Guistwhite Scholarship, was elected to the Student Senate, participated in numerous campus organizations, and taught classes in the Ukrainian Community of Minnesota. In addition to the Guistwhite Scholarship, Olga earned a mention on the All-USA Academic Team, won the Normandale Student Leadership Award and volunteered over 800 hours for different community-based organizations.
