At the Finnish Innovation Fund I advise on policies related to climate action, carbon-neutral energy systems and circular economy. I am also a Partner at Tyrsky Consulting, a climate and sustainability consultancy. I served as a Member of Parliament for close to 11 years and worked4 years as a Climate Policy Specialist in the Prime Minister's Office. I am currently also a substitute Member of the European Parliament. I have been an invited speaker, lecturer or panelist in more than 1,000 events on various topics, including speaking engagements at 15 universities (e.g. Oxford and Stanford) and in about 30 countries. I have a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tampere. I am the author of three books. I have lived in Finland, India and Belgium and travelled in about 60 countries.
