I recently made a pilgrimage across the country with my son, driving from the West Coast to the East Coast to settle in a part of the country so different from my home, but just the place that I envision raising him. We are surrounded by nature, fueled by the seasons, enriched by family and share a new sense of connection with each other that builds our bond stronger with each day. I am creating the life for us as I always dreamed.
