Pablo Barberá is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics at New York University and a graduate fellow in the Social Media and Political Participation lab. His primary areas of research include social media and politics, electoral institutions and behavior, and political corruption. In his doctoral dissertation, he examines the effect of social media usage on mass political polarization. He received a BA and MA in Political Science and Public Administration at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
