Pam Cope is Co-founder of the Touch A Life Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Dallas, TX, devoted to rescuing, providing for, and advocating for exploited children. Pam is the author, with Aimee Molloy, of Jantsen’s Gift (Grand Central Publishing 2009), a memoir of Pam’s life and the lives of the children who have been trafficked or live in fear of being trafficked.

The Foundation, created after the sudden death of Pam’s 15-year-old son, Jantsen, as a lasting legacy of his brief life, has initially focused its work in three countries – Vietnam, Cambodia, and Ghana. It currently supports 82 children full-time in Vietnam and Cambodia and assists another 150 Asian children with school tuition, vocational training, and daycare. It has successfully rescued 50 children from slavery in the fishing communities along Ghana’s Lake Volta and supports 48 of them on an ongoing basis.
