Patric K. Stanton is professor of cell biology and anatomy, and professor of neurology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He directs the Neural Systems laboratory, which studies mechanisms of synaptic plasticity underlying learning and memory, and their dysfunction in diseases such as Alzheimer's, depression, epilepsy, stroke and traumatic brain injury. He is editor-in-chief of NeuroReport and review editor for Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience.
