Dr. Patricia Nkansah-Asamoah is the former Director of the Prevention of Mother-to-Child (PMTCT) Clinic at Tema Hospital in Ghana. She administered the clinic’s first successful PMTCT treatment, which saw an HIV+ mother deliver an HIV free baby as a result of having access ARV medication.
