Patrick Sharma is a JD candidate at Harvard Law School. Previously, he received a PhD in history from UCLA. His writing has appeared in The Review of International Political Economy, Diplomatic History, the SAIS Review, the Yale Journal of International Affairs, and Perspectives on History. In addition to the Huffington Post, he has provided commentary for Politico, US News & World Report, the San Jose Mercury News, the History News Network, the Berkeley Blog, KCBS San Francisco and KTVU Bay Area. He is currently at work on his first book, a history of Robert McNamara's presidency of the World Bank.
