Patty Boles

For the past 33 years, Patty Boles has been a foster parent, caring for more than 100 special needs and medically fragile children in San Diego, California. Today, she is the proud mother of 11 children.

In 1998, Patty founded Straight From the Heart, Inc., a nonprofit resource center for foster children and their caregivers based in San Marcos, California. With this organization, Patty hopes that every child will be born into loving arms, and when that’s not possible, that other arms can wrap the child in love and healing. Straight From the Heart’s mission is to support those children and those whose arms hold them.
