Paul Gardner-Stephen

Founder, Serval Project

Dr. Paul Gardner-Stephen is the founder of the Serval Project, as well as a Shuttleworth Telecomunications Fellow and Rural, Remote & Humanitarian Telecommunications Research Fellow at Flinders University. He previously worked as a computer systems administrator and lecturer, made the world’s first working shoe phone, and wrote software that was sold into three continents while still at school. Dr. Gardner-Stephen lives in Adelaide, Australia with his wife and two children.
