After being hired by Jay Leno to write jokes for “The Tonight Show,” and living a secret double life as a Wall Street lawyer/banker by day and comedian by night, Paul leaves Wall Street to be a comedian.



Paul's Podcast, "The Paul Mecurio Show," on iTunes showcases Paul's in depth, detailed and entertaining interviewing style. Paul has interviewed "A" list celebrities as, Paul McCartney, Jay Leno, Bob Costas, Lewis Black and many more.



Paul is a recurring political and pop culture satirist on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Current TV.



Paul has made dozens of national television appearances as a recurring contributor on such shows as, his own "Comedy Central Special," "The Daily Show," "The CBS Late, Late Show," "Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld" (regular), "Conan O’Brien," “Hannity" (regular), "CNN Newsroom"(regular), "Viewpoint: Current TV" (regular)" ESPN Correspondent, "Huckabee," "The Dylan Ratigan Show" (regular) and others.



Featured on “The Daily Show” as a correspondent and in “The Daily Show” segment, “Second Opinion,” in which Paul skewered the medical profession playing an HMO representative with a less than sympathetic mindset.



Stars in, created, executive produced, and directed an HBO and HBO.com Sports Comedy series, “Got No Game w/Paul Mecurio.” Show nominated for an Emmy Award.



Starred in, created, and executive produced his own sports comedy show for Comedy Central called, “Sports Central.”



Hosted several shows and pilots for Comedy Central, CBS, HBO and VH-1.



Paul has three television shows in development. A sit-com starring Paul based on his backstory. Lewis Black will co-star. Don Scardino, the famed director from “30 Rock,” will Direct and Executive Produce. Paul also has a talk show centered around his unique brand of stand up. And Paul has also developed an adult animated show about superstar athletes. Mitch Watson, EP of “Beware the Batman (2013)” and EP at Warner Brothers animation is attached as showrunner along with Josh Feldman, producer at Playtone and EP of Tom Hanks’ “Electric City.” Six Point Harness Animation Studio, creators of MTV’s “Good Vibes” and Playtone’s “Electric City” is attached as the animation studio.

National Syndicated Radio: Paul Appears regularly in a recurring segment of his own creation called “The Image Makeover Guy” (playing an image makeover consultant giving comedic PR advice) on the largest nationally syndicated radio show in the country, “The Bob and Tom Show,” heard in 130 markets by over 4 million listeners nationwide.



Paul is a frequent guest and regular guest host on various SiriusXM radio political and comedy talk shows.



Paul has written, produced and directed five short films, the latest of which, “Gloves,” an off-center dark comedy has been screened at several prestigious film festivals including “The Toronto Film Festival,” “The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival” and “The San Sebastian Film Festival” in Spain.
