Paul V.

Club and radio DJ; author, 'Born This Way' blog and book

DJ Paul V. is an institution in the L.A. and Silver Lake club scene, and his career has thrived for 30 years. He’s co-creator and DJ at the infamous Dragstrip 66 (which, at 20 years old, is L.A.'s longest-running underground dance event). His signature sets offer cutting-edge music and beats for alternative and gay/mixed dancefloors.

His electro-indie rock mixes and mashups got heard on the L.A. airwaves on Indie 103.1 FM with The Smash Mix and his Neon Noise radio show -- until they pulled the plug on the station. But Neon Noise is now back online on Moheak.com.

In January 2011 Paul turned more of his attention to LGBTQ activism with the creation of his Born This Way blog and now his Born This Way: Real Stories of Growing Up Gay book, released in October 2012.
