Documentary filmmaker, public health advocate
Perri Peltz is a distinguished documentary filmmaker and public health advocate. She recently directed the highly acclaimed HBO documentary, The Education of Dee Dee Ricks, which profiles disparities in the U.S. health care system as seen through the lens of an unlikely friendship between two very different women battling breast cancer. Perri also hosts, "Dr. Radio Reports", a one-hour weekly program about public health issues for the Sirius-XM Network.
