Former Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board (2008-2009)

Peter Carey Schaumber served as Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board from 2008-2009, appointed by President George W. Bush. He also served as an NLRB member from 2002-2005. Prior to his appointment as a member of the Board, Mr. Schaumber practiced as a labor arbitrator serving on a number of industry panels and through national arbitration rosters. He is frequently published and quoted on a variety of labor issues in many national publications including the Wall Street Journal, National Review, the Washington Times, the Washington Examiner, The Hill and Roll Call in addition to regular appearances on FOX News, FOX Business, and CNBC.
