Peter Winter is Managing Editor of US-China Today, an online publication produced by the University of Southern California's US-China Institute.
Winter most recently served as Director of the Student Ambassadors Program for the USA Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China. He recently co-authored a study on China's growing influence in Africa in the Harvard International Review, and has conducted research for the Luce Foundation on religious issues in China. He is a graduate of USC’s Master’s in Public Diplomacy program, and holds a B.A. in International Relations & Mandarin Chinese.
Following his Expo duties, Winter joined his colleague Hans Von Meister for the Great Ride Forward, an 8000km motorbike jaunt through China, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The two documented their adventures and misadventures at www.GreatRideForward.com.
