Phil Chearmonte

Board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Western New York Chapter

Phil Chearmonte is currently an active board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Western New York Chapter, an AFSP National Advocate, a trained AFSP Survivor Outreach volunteer, and an active Buffalo Out of the Darkness walk committee member. Mr. Chearmonte continues to participate as a local panelist at the International Survivors of Suicide Day events, and in numerous forums, programs, and media interviews in support of suicide prevention. Phil Chearmonte and wife Linda, reside in Amherst, NY and have two surviving sons, (Michael, 23 and PJ, 13), along with two Labrador Retrievers (Stryker & Bailey).
