Philipp Mißfelder

Philipp Mißfelder is a German politician and a member of the German Bundestag.

Philipp Mißfelder was born on 25th of August 1979 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. After serving in the German military service, he studied History and graduated from Technische Universität Berlin. From 1998 to 2000 he was Federal President of the Schüler Union (School Students Association of Junge Union) and since 2002 he holds the chairmanship of Junge Union. In 2005 he was elected as member of the German Bundestag and re-elected in 2009. Philipp Mißfelder is elected Foreign Policy Spokesman of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary-Group since 2009 and since 2008 member of the CDU executive committee. He is married with one daughter.
