Pierre R. Berastaín serves as the Assistant Director of Innovation and Engagement at the National Latin@ Network, the national institute on domestic violence focusing on Latin@ communities. Before joining the National Latin@ Network, he worked as the Restorative Justice Advocate at Renewal House, a domestic violence shelter in Boston, MA, and as the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Restorative Justice Collaborative. He also served as the Director of Media Relations for the Hispanic Black Gay Coalition, as Co-Chair of the MA Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Domestic Violence Coalition, and as a Fellow at the Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's National People of Color Media Institute. He graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor's in Social Anthropology and from Harvard Divinity School with a Master in Divinity (M.Div.).
