Kergan Edwards-Stout's debut novel, SONGS FOR THE NEW DEPRESSION, was the recipient of many honors, including the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book award. His collection of short stories, GIFTS NOT YET GIVEN, landed on several Best Book lists. He has also had pieces published in a number of publications (including the Huffington Post, Bilerico Project, LGBTQ Nation, and University of Texas/Austin’s collection of American Short Fiction), and has served as both contributor and editor of a health magazine, SexVibe. He is currently at work on a memoir. He, his hubby Russ, and their sons, Mason and Marcus, live in the mountains outside of Denver.
