I am a New York City native who found a familiar solace in the fashion and culture explosion Dallas experienced in the early 2000s. Honestly, I couldn’t have been here at a better time. Back in 2002, I discovered that I could shop, eat, travel and go to events and people would actually pay for the same kind observations that I’d post on my blog anyway. Since then I’ve been a contributing writer for a number of publications including Forbes Travel Guide, Oyster.com, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Observer, GoGoBot.com, BlackAmericaWeb.com, Allhiphop.com and BET.com. For seven years I gave visitors the inside scoop on Dallas shopping via Where Magazine and I served as the managing editor of SoulTrain.com since its launch in 2009 until 2011.
