Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman

Director, Ohr Chadash: New Horizons in Jewish Experience

Rabbi Avraham Arieh Trugman has 35 years of experience in the field of Jewish education. He and his wife were a founding family of Moshav Meor Modiim (the Carlebach Moshav) in 1976, and he served many years as the Director at the Center of Jewish Education, which successfully ran programs each year for more than 5,000 participants from over 25 countries.

In 1988, he took the position of Regional Director of NCSY in Denver, Colorado, where he created a new region. Rabbi Trugman returned to Israel in 1995 and is now the Director of Ohr Chadash: New Horizons in Jewish Experience.

Rabbi Trugman has published poems and articles in a wide variety of publications. His has published six books: "Seeds and Sparks," "The Mystical Power of Music," "The Mystical Meaning of Dreams," "The Mystical Nature of Light" and "Return Again: The Dynamics of Reincarnation" and his latest book, "The Orchard of Delights," a major commentary on the five books of the Torah.

His first music CD, Strings of the Soul was released in 2009 and his second one, From World to World, will be released in late 2011. Rabbi Trugman has lectured in nearly 40 cities world wide and has run and participated in hundreds of Shabbat programs.
