Rabbi and Director of Programs, Jewish Farm School

Jacob Fine serves as Rabbi and Director of Programs for the Jewish Farm School (JFS). JFS’ mission is to practice and promote sustainable agriculture and to support food systems rooted in justice and Jewish traditions.

A graduate of Vassar College, he was ordained by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University. A Wexner Graduate Fellow and former Hillel rabbi at the University of Washington, Jacob is a leader in the field of Jewish environmental and agricultural education. Jacob lives with his family in Amherst, Mass.
