Author, '70 Faces' and 'Waiting to Unfold'
Rabbi Rachel Barenblat was ordained by ALEPH: the Alliance for Jewish Renewal in 2011. Since 2003 she has blogged as the Velveteen Rabbi. She is author of 70 Faces (Phoenicia, 2011) and Waiting to Unfold (Phoenicia, 2013). A Rabbis Without Borders fellow, she serves a small Reform congregation in western Massachusetts where she lives with her husband and son.
