Honored internationally as a bridgebuilder and peacemaker, Ruth Broyde Sharone--filmmaker, journalist, interfaith leader and public speaker--has been Co-Chair of the Southern California Parliament of the World's Religions (sccpwr.org) since 2007. Broyde-Sharone is also the producer/director of the prize-winning film, GOD AND ALLAH NEED TO TALK, and the author of the much lauded interfaith memoir, MINEFIELDS & MIRACLES, that received more than 30 testimonials from world religious leaders including H.H. the Dalai Lama, Marianne Williamson, and Eboo Patel. She is a regular correspondent for The Interfaith Observer (TIO) and the creator of INTERFAITH: The Musical, "a joyous celebration of our religious and cultural differences." In response to rising anti-Muslim sentiment and minority discrimination, Broyde Sharone posted a youtube video called "Speaking Out Against Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism and Minority Discrimination."
