Rachael Freed, founder of Life-Legacies, is a Senior Fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and emeritus Marriage and Family Therapist. Author, inspirational lecturer and workshop facilitator, she provides programs applying legacy principles for organizations, families, and individuals experiencing life transitions. Freed has trained cardiac professionals internationally to support cardiac families. Her volunteer activities include service in the US Peace Corps for two years in Tunisia. She has read for the Minnesota Society for the Blind for over 18 years. She has served on the Board of The Mpls. Jewish Day School and Temple Israel, Minneapolis, chair and co-chair of Adult Learning, and she presently chairs the Temple Legacy Project.
She is the proud grandmother of eight.
