Rachel Hentsch Spadafora

Rachel Hentsch Spadafora is an Architect-turned-Entrepreneur. She is a University of Cambridge graduate, Università La Sapienza of Roma graduate (where she earned degrees in Architecture), and has a very wide spectrum of professional experience that spans from architectural work to business development, PR, interpreting work, writing and experience in television production. She was selected from amongst more than 850 applicants for the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Seoul in March 2016, was invited from a pool of over 3,000 applicants to become a Hive Global Leader, in San Francisco, in May 2016, and went through MIT Teacher Training Bootcamp in August 2016 thus earning an MIT Certificate in "Teaching New Ventures Leadership". Since 2014 Rachel has been working as Business Developer on an Italian startup in the field of the Sharing Economy and is very keen on exploring ways in which technology can enhance and multiply the innate human potential for sharing, to create a world where connectedness is the key to unlocking potential at every level. In 2016 Rachel co-founded InfinityFoundry. a global community that connects entrepreneneurs, innovators and makers. Her skills include fluency in 5 languages: English, Italian, French, German and Mandarin. She has been married since 1992, has 5 children and has always loved to launch into offbeat, "impossible" challenges by gently but joyfully disrupting the conventional status quo. Rachel is a passionate motorcyclist (supersport streetbiking, trials motorycling, touring and enduro) and holds the title of Lady Enduro Regional Champion 2015. Rachel is a contributor to several important reference Italian websites such as StartupBusiness, TechEconomy, Motocicliste and SheMotori.
