Rachel Lewis hails from Appalachia and is an advocate for campaign finance reform, access to education, mental health and other issues. Lewis began her policy career on the Hill working for then-Sen. Hillary Clinton. An early adopter of social media, Lewis pioneered @ mention advocacy and increased online impressions by 672% in her first quarter alone as the lead of digital at Pubic Citizen. Rachel Lewis is the head of Moxie Strategies and teaches a class on social media for a branch of the University of Virginia in her native Southwestern, VA.
