Rachel Rear is a teacher, writer, actor, and sometime aerialist living in Brooklyn, New York. Her essays and poetry have been published in the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, Crab Creek Review, Off The Coast Poetry Journal, and Ducts Webzine. Her play Hydra, co-written with John P.
