Charles Radcliffe heads the Equality and Non-discrimination team at the United Nations Human Rights Office in New York. He also serves as senior UN human rights adviser on sexual orientation and gender identity, and directs UN Free & Equal -- a global United Nations campaign for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and intersex equality. Prior to joining the UN in 2006, Charles helped found and develop the International Crisis Group, serving for seven years as the organization's vice-president.
