Ranbir S. Sandhu, Ph.D.

Professor Emeritus, Ohio State University

Dr. Ranbir S. Sandhu is Professor Emeritus at the Ohio State University. He received his early education in India and worked for 15 years as an engineer on design and planning of high dams before coming to the United States in 1965.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1968 and joined the Ohio State faculty in August 1969 after about a year in the consulting industry. He retired in 1995.

He has worked with several organizations to promote interfaith understanding and peace. He served as president of the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio and Secretary General of World Sikh Council -– America Region. He has authored over a hundred publications, including Struggle for Justice.

He moved to California in 2002. He and his wife, Surinder, live in Tracy, Calif.
