Randy Rutta

President and CEO of Easter Seals

In January 2015, Randall Rutta transitioned to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Easterseals, building on three decades of service to the organization, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President for Public Affairs.

He has led and played integral roles in advancing public policy, service innovation, and philanthropic initiatives at all levels of the organization. Easterseals annually serves 1.4 million people of all ages and abilities, providing an array of home and community-based services through a national affiliate network with 550 facilities and a multitude of local program sites.

He champions Easterseals’ pioneering heritage and frontline role in supporting the success of people and their families through all life' moments, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and social challenges so that each individual can reach for and realize their goals and aspirations.

He fostered Easterseals' expertise and reach in government policy and projects, and organized key resources to support service innovation and impact through research-to-practice collaboration, training, technical assistance, and information dissemination in all major areas of life activity for persons with disabilities and chronic conditions, seniors, veterans and military families, and caregivers.

He oversees Easterseals’ international efforts to promote knowledge exchange, service and increased capacity to benefit people with disabilities and their families living outside of the United States particularly in Australia, Mexico and Canada.

As CEO, Rutta is committed to build and champion a relevant, compelling brand that invites society-wide engagement; to dramatically increase philanthropy, earned resources, and investment to strengthen Easterseals’ national and global network; and, to scale service innovation and expand organizational capacity so everyone has the opportunity to reach for and achieve their full potential in life.
