Rasheena Fountain

M.A.Ed.,Environmentalist, Social Justice Advocate

Rasheena Fountain is a native of Chicago’s West Side communities known as Austin and K-Town. Today Fountain is a freelance writer whose work focuses mainly on issues related to inner-city violence, race relations, environmental justice and sustainability, music and human rights. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has a M.A,Ed. in Urban Environmental Education from Antioch University Seattle. She is also in the process of writing her first book.
