As a forty-something mother of three, wife of a loud but gentle Greek, substitute teacher, writer, camper, traveler, baker and cake eater, I enjoy sharing my life with others by blogging on my site, www.worldtriptalk.com. Not too long ago, we moved to balmy Minnesota from the West Virginian hills, and folks, they are indeed hills. I have a Master's in Sociology/Anthropology and do absolutely nothing with it. During the summer months, I am a food artisan (that's what they said!) vendor at the Riverwalk Market Fair here in Minnesota. I bake Greek pastries and savories, and regardless of my sweat and tears when I occasionally burn a batch of baklava, Nikos, my husband, gets all the credit, being that he's the one from Greece. I lead a simple life, filled with chaos, yelling on a school morning, the real grumpy cat, teen drama, hens that don't ever lay eggs, a bus driver who despises my kids, and live for traveling with my sweet family and the corner piece of cake.
